We are now looking for a social worker for the economic group within Individual and Family Care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your task as a social worker in the economic group is to support applicants for assistance on their way to self-sufficiency. This is done through conversations, labor market initiatives, social initiatives, and collaboration with involved parties both internally and externally. The work also involves independently investigating, assessing, and deciding on applications for financial assistance and economic support. Support in the work includes a unit manager, senior social worker, and colleagues.

The economic group continuously works on development and improvements in the work. The goal of the development work is to increasingly offer extensive individual support for self-sufficiency and to conduct legally secure and efficient processing. Our focus and goal are that you as a social worker should be able to use your working hours for social change work that makes a difference. You are expected to be involved and contribute, and we value both previous work experience and knowledge from studies. As a colleague in the group, you will be involved in implementing new legislation and establishing new working methods based on upcoming reforms, including activity requirements.

We offer a workplace where the focus is on social work and support for self-sufficiency, where you as a social worker have the opportunity to contribute to the development work we are engaged in and where you can use your knowledge and experience for client-centered work. You will have the opportunity to work with your colleagues in the economic group, other units within Individual and Family Care, and collaborative partners to help more adults achieve self-sufficiency and an independent life, and to ensure that fewer children grow up in economic vulnerability.
