Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

Your tasks will include being present as a personal assistant in daily activities and assisting with horseback riding once a week. During horseback riding, double assistance is required. You will also participate in educational meals with the client during your working hours. Other activities may include swimming in a pool and gym training. The client's main interests are movies, music, cooking, and animals.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a 33-year-old woman living in Vallastaden, Linköping

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has a B driver's license

• is smoke-free

• is tolerant of pets

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have knowledge of sign language

• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment rate of about 75%. In addition to scheduled working hours, there is an opportunity to work extra as needed. Working hours vary between day, evening, and night.

We are also looking for hourly substitutes who can work as needed. The position as an hourly substitute is perfect for you who study and want to work extra in the evenings, nights, and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.
