This is what you do as a claims adjuster at Folksam

As a claims adjuster in motor or animal insurance, you are responsible for ensuring that the customer has their insurance claim settled in a simple and engaging manner through high availability and good customer service. You provide the customer with a quick and accurate response regarding their claim. You have extensive contact areas where you need to ensure collaboration with both internal and external customers.

Every day, we strive to offer our customers security. Whether it’s being there when the car is damaged or when your pet gets sick, there are very competent employees on site to help.

Your main responsibilities include:

• receiving incoming calls, registering claims, and documenting cases
• requesting any additional documents and information
• making decisions, settling, compensating, and closing cases
• providing information on claims, our continued handling, and clarifying what is expected from the customer and what the customer can expect from us.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys and has experience in service professions with customer contact. You thrive on communicating with customers through our various contact points while efficiently working in different system environments. Experience in the insurance industry, especially claims adjustment, is a plus. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English. You have completed your high school education with final grades.

You can make quick decisions and communicate them clearly. You have the ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations, can focus on the right things, and quickly adapt to changing circumstances. You are confident in yourself and want to serve the customer in a solution-oriented and accommodating manner. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate with others, take responsibility for your performance, and put a lot of commitment into your work.
