As a Designer at ScanBox, you will play a central role in the development of their global premium solutions for thermal boxes for professional kitchens around the world.

About the role

As a Designer, you will design, model, and further develop components, modules, and products that make a real difference for end users. You will work in an experienced and dedicated development team with both new development, product maintenance, and improvements. Your tasks will include:

• Participating in concept development, design, and visualization.
• Maintaining drawing libraries, technical records, and existing designs.

• Working with technical documentation for purchasing and manufacturing.
• Preparing components, modules, and products in the ERP system with BOM lists and operations.

• Conducting and evaluating physical tests of prototypes.

You will be an important part of Scanbox's continued growth efforts and are expected to take responsibility, think outside the box, and contribute to ensuring that their solutions are always at the forefront.

The role is based in Olofström and is part of the Product Management Team, reporting to the Technical Product Manager.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is an educated mechanical engineer, engineering degree holder, or civil engineer with a few years of experience in design work and product development within, for example, sheet metal, plastic parts, profiles, or aluminum profiles. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of electrical systems, but it is not a requirement. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus, as is Monitor. Your proficiency in Swedish and English is very good, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are analytical, technical, and structured, with the ability to create order even in complex contexts. You are also curious, hands-on, and unafraid to test, build, and learn new things. You enjoy working in teams and in a daily environment with many points of contact where you can collaborate, discuss, and develop ideas together with others.
