Supplier Quality Engineer for Consultancy Assignment in Karlskrona

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for a consultancy assignment in Karlskrona. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders with a focus on quality, improvement work, and analysis.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The assignment involves working as a Supplier Quality Engineer with many points of contact, both internally and externally. The role requires careful data collection, analytical skills, and the ability to summarize complex information into clear conclusions. The position is subject to security protection and requires an approved security clearance as well as certain citizenship. The assignment starts once the security clearance is completed and runs until 2026-08-31.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves ensuring high supplier quality through careful data collection, methodical analysis, and effective problem-solving. You will be an important link between internal processes and external suppliers.

• Ensure and develop supplier quality in accordance with requirements and standards
• Follow up on supplier performance and conduct supplier assessments
• Drive deviation management and root cause analysis
• Initiate, lead, and follow up on improvement measures with suppliers
• Work with quality methods such as 8D and Six Sigma
• Collaborate with internal functions such as purchasing, production, and quality
• Analyze and compile quality data and report results

• Has an engineering degree and/or several years of documented experience in similar roles
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has a good understanding of purchasing and supplier quality
• Is meticulous, analytical, and methodical in your work approach
• Has experience with quality methods such as 8D and Six Sigma
• Has the ability to handle complex information and summarize it into clear conclusions
• Is solution-oriented and driven by continuous improvements
• Has a natural business interest
