About the Department
The Implementation Department in Ronneby is part of the Implementation Unit South, whose operations ensure the Swedish Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock - all year round. The unit consists of over 180 employees distributed across 7 departments in 6 locations within the Southern Military Region (MR S), of which GA Ronneby is one. GA Ronneby currently has 37 employees divided into three sections. We work in a developing environment characterized by ambition, technical competence, and opportunities for personal development. In this position, you will of course receive the guidance and additional training required to give you the best conditions to carry out your work.
Main Responsibilities
You will, among other things, perform operation and maintenance on the Armed Forces' communication systems, which are part of the monitoring of Sweden's territory. The work is mainly performed at the Armed Forces' unmanned facilities, which means that travel and overnight stays at other locations are common. International system support trips may occur.
- Independently or in a work team, work with preventive and corrective maintenance, commissioning, installation, and modification of the Armed Forces' Tele Network (radio links, optical fiber, switches, routers, etc.)
- Repair work in masts and towers
- The position also involves collaborating with colleagues in other technical areas and external suppliers
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Approved upper secondary or post-secondary education with a focus on electrical/telecommunications/data communication or equivalent knowledge deemed comparable by the employer
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
- Good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Driving license B, without restrictions
- Computer proficiency
- Good physical condition

DESIRABLE
- Experience and knowledge of electronics, measurement technology, network technology
- Experience working with radio and transmission
- Experience in troubleshooting within electrical and IT
- Experience working at heights
- Military driving licenses
- Completed military service, GMU, or GSU
- Familiarity with the Armed Forces' material/equipment

Location: Ronneby. Work occurs in other parts of the country.
Employment level: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces. If you are employed in the Armed Forces, an approved medical examination and climbing must be completed before transition or a six-month probationary period.
Position: Civil.
Employment level: Full-time.
