Engineer in Sustainable, Reliable Systems and Maintenance Solutions
Are you an engineer with a holistic view and experience in sustainable, reliable systems and maintenance solutions? Are you ready to take on technically complex challenges working with the Swedish Navy's vessels? About the Position
Sustainable, reliable systems and maintenance solutions are an important part of ensuring the availability of the Armed Forces' equipment and play a significant role for the Navy's ships and boats.
In the role of engineer in sustainable, reliable systems and maintenance solutions, you will be responsible for our requirements setting, planning, as well as follow-up and review of our suppliers' documentation, progress, compliance with requirements, and deliveries, ensuring that the required quality and efficiency are achieved in the suppliers' production.
You will be the cohesive force and support the projects regarding sustainable, reliable systems and maintenance solutions during project meetings and follow-ups, where reporting within the area of responsibility is made to the responsible project manager. You will also continuously contribute to the development of sustainable, reliable systems and maintenance solutions within the marine arena.
The position is located in Karlskrona. Business trips occur, both domestically and internationally.
About You
We are looking for someone with a relevant academic education with a technical focus or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. To succeed in the role, you have current and relevant experience in requirements management and verification of sustainable, reliable systems and maintenance solutions, as well as knowledge of reliable and complex systems. You also need to have current and relevant experience in project work. The position requires a B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of technical system design and marine systems.

You will work in our marine materiel area responsible for the marine systems used by the Armed Forces, such as submarines, ships, and diving equipment. Within the area, there is the amphibious, support, and base systems department, currently consisting of 70 engaged employees with great competence. In Karlskrona, there is the unit for amphibious, support, and base systems that drives projects related to the maintenance of ship and boat systems for marine support, base, amphibious, and logistics units. Examples include Trossbåtar, Skolfartyg, Trossö, Carlskrona, Stridsbåtar, and Artemis.
