You will work within our business area Hardware & Design where we combine broad engineering expertise with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to large-scale production.

• You will work with mechanical design and product development.

• Perform strength calculations of your or others’ designs.

• Analyze and break down technical problems to find the best solutions together with your team.

• Take responsibility in projects and share your knowledge while independently taking charge of your own work.

• Work with continuous integration and delivery as central parts of your role.

Qualifications We are looking for someone who enjoys tackling tricky technical challenges and analyzing. You like to work with the team to break down these challenges to reach the best solution. You are someone who enjoys sharing your knowledge while also being able to drive your own work forward independently. In addition to your personal qualities, you need to have the following:

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or product development.

• At least 10 years of experience working as a mechanical designer in construction and product development.

• Experience with strength calculations.

• Good knowledge of CAD and PDM systems; Solid Works, Creo, and Windchill.

• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

As some of our assignments are subject to defense secrecy, a security clearance may be required.

Practical information This is a permanent position, located at our office in Karlskrona, Skeppsbrokajen 14. Travel may occur to our clients. Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
