Digit Hub Sweden

Through the initiative DigIT Hub Sweden, we use digitalization as a driving force to create sustainable and efficient working methods, enhanced competitiveness, and better-tailored services. We help companies and organizations keep up with the digital transition and meet the expectations of customers, employees, and citizens who are becoming increasingly digital.

In order to offer more relevant initiatives, Techtank, together with partners in southern Sweden, has developed the project Digit Hub Sweden 2.0. Malmö University is the project owner and leads the project. Techtank is a sub-project leader and focuses on supporting small/medium-sized industrial companies in Blekinge.

DigIT Hub Sweden 2.0 is a European-funded collaborative project aimed at supporting digital transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the public sector in Skåne, Blekinge, and Kronoberg. The project focuses on providing digitalization support, skills-enhancing initiatives, test beds, networks, and guidance on financing, with the goal of creating long-term competitiveness, sustainable development, and enhanced innovation capacity.

About the role

In the role of project manager in the Digit Hub Sweden project, you will among other things:

• Work together with the project team and the parties involved in the project. This includes planning, administration, and follow-up.
• Work proactively and together with companies to analyze needs and identify development opportunities to promote digitalization.
• Coach and educate companies in change work, for example in automation, digitalization, and AI.
• Build and develop relationships with companies, academia, and other actors within the business support system to create synergies and collaboration opportunities.
• Work towards a long-term sustainable industrial development – both from an environmental and business perspective.

Qualifications

Education

You have a university degree in a relevant field for the role, e.g., industrial development, digitalization, sustainability, circular economy, or equivalent experience that the employer considers equivalent.

Experience

We are looking for someone with experience in industrial production, preferably with additional knowledge in areas such as digitalization, AI, production technology, automation, business systems, and process mapping. You have experience in project management and coaching, and are used to collaborating in project teams.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong interest and understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities with a focus on digitalization and AI.
• Has good communication skills – you express yourself well, are a good listener, and create trust in dialogue with others.
• Enjoys building relationships, is attentive, has good collaboration skills, and sees yourself as a team player.
• Is self-driven, structured, and analytical, with the ability to drive processes forward in a goal-oriented manner.
• Is solution-focused and can translate ideas into practical action.

Other

You have a good ability to communicate both orally and in writing in Swedish as well as in English. You are accustomed to writing and processing various types of documents, such as reports and presentations, and are comfortable giving lectures and presentations.

You have good knowledge of the Office suite.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as travel is part of the job.

The position is based at Techtank's office in Olofström. Additionally, work will be conducted in Blekinge, where the most benefit for the operation is achieved.
