Quality Engineer

Your Role

As a quality engineer, you will work closely with others in your team in direct connection with Saab's production.

In the Production Quality section, QA/QC has two main areas of responsibility in addition to supporting production and spreading the quality culture that is a key success factor for achieving success.

Quality Control

• Identify quality issues.
• Be responsible for preparing, planning, resourcing, and conducting quality inspections on products for our customer projects.
• Review incoming requirements and standards.
• Conduct inspections upon arrival and during production, both planned and random.

Quality Assurance

• Be process-oriented and prevent quality issues.
• Map incoming requirements and standards and ensure their application in manufacturing processes.
• Drive methods for ongoing quality development and continuously promote improvement work, through both preventive work and deviation management.
• Initiate and lead teams assigned to solve difficult quality challenges.

Your Profile

We are now looking for someone with documented experience in quality work and/or education in this field. You should be proactive and innovative in your work and have a strong interest in learning about the business. The ability to communicate and compromise with your surroundings is seen as one of the greatest success factors.

Meritorious

• Higher education in quality engineering
• English is the corporate language and should therefore be well mastered, both orally and in writing
• Competence in sheet metal work, welding, or composite manufacturing

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
