Measurement Technician

Your Role

As a measurement technician, you will work within the quality department.

The department currently consists of 8 people and is responsible for checking production-manufactured items and providing measurement technical expertise in connection with deviations and investigations within production. This is done in close collaboration with purchasing and production quality.

You, together with other employees in the department, will contribute to maintaining the right quality of manufactured items.

Main Responsibilities

• Program and conduct measurements in measurement machines, scanners, measuring arms, and total stations
• Measurements with hand measuring tools
• Calibrations
• Document completed inspections
• Administer quality documentation in the business system IFS
• Visits and measurements at suppliers
• Support to production

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, and analytical. You need to be flexible and able to act based on daily priorities.

Furthermore, you need to be engaged and able to collaborate effectively and have a knack for building networks.

Requirements

• Education in measurement technology or equivalent experience in measurement technical work
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings, including geometric tolerances
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Experience working with Mitutoyo and Hexagon measurement machines
• Experience working with scanners, measuring arms, and total stations
• Experience with Polyworks software
• Knowledge of measurements with hand measuring tools

Work in other locations may occur.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
