We are now looking for a service engineer who wants to work closely with the business and contribute to reliable facilities and satisfied customers.

Job Responsibilities As a service engineer at ONE Nordic, you will work with operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical service and projects in hydropower stations. You are an important link between the customer, technicians, project management, and the operations organization, contributing to ensuring high quality, safety, and availability in our deliveries.

You will be based at our establishment in Karlshamn or Växjö unless otherwise agreed.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and technical support during operational disturbances and corrective maintenance

• Participate in projects related to hydropower connected to programming and construction

• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning

• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations, agreements, and safety regulations

• Technical documentation and reporting to customers and internal functions

• Participate in improvement work related to operations, quality, and safety

• Contribute to an active work environment and safety efforts for our employees

Who are you? We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and has a genuine technical interest. You thrive in a role where you can take responsibility, work independently, and at the same time have close collaboration with colleagues and customers. Since we work under contracts with customers, it is important that you are attentive, communicative, and have a clear service focus. You contribute to a good team spirit and are someone who takes initiative and works proactively to ensure high quality in delivery.

Desirable Qualifications To succeed in the role of service engineer, it is desirable that you have experience in service, operation, and maintenance within hydropower or industry, or that you have previously worked in a technically responsible role, focusing on troubleshooting and facility operations. It is advantageous if you have experience in contracting operations and if you have completed training such as ESA.

• Experience in PLC programming in Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, and/or Beckhoff.

• Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet & IEC104.

• Experience in electrical design. Preferably in Elprocad, other CAD programs are also advantageous.

• Experience in HMI development. Preferably in Siemens, IX Developer, or E-designer

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of professional experience as an automation engineer.

• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree, or other post-secondary education.

• Experience from the chemical industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, or food, or other similar industries.

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and a valid driver's license (B).
