Take a leading role in our production team and work in a modern production environment in Karlskrona

Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and lead a team? In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to a company that plays a central role in society's green transition. Our production is growing, and we now need to expand our team of production managers.

Develop, motivate, and engage

As a Production Manager at NKT, your leadership skills will take center stage. You will lead a team of Operators working in the part of the factory that performs the final stage of cable processing before delivery – the Armoring Department.

You will work closely with a team of Production Managers, Technicians, Operators, and several support functions. You will ensure that our resources in terms of people, machines, and materials are used optimally. You will lead a team operating on a 5-shift system, meaning production continues even when you are not on site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and be responsible for, among other things:

• Setting, clarifying, monitoring, and developing departmental goals within the business.
• Recruitment and development of personnel.
• Rational utilization of resources (people, machines, and materials).
• Investment and overhead budgeting.
• Ensuring departmental goals are set, clarified, monitored, and implemented in operations.

Inspiring and engaged leader

To succeed and thrive in the role of Production Manager, you need previous experience in personnel management as well as the ability to engage and motivate employees. You are skilled at handling challenges with a solution-oriented approach in a varied work environment and have a good ability to give feedback with sensitivity to different individuals. As a leader, you are clear about goals and expectations and view development as the most important path to results. You have an interest in technology and are eager to contribute to conversations and discussions.

In addition to the above, you have experience leading personnel, worked with SAM (Systematic Work Environment Management), and have a genuine interest in quality and improvement work. Your CV should also include the following:

• Upper secondary education with a focus on technology or equivalent.
• Experience in personnel management within manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
