Develop and connect industrial systems in an advanced production environment in Karlskrona
To our department Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, we are now looking for an employee who, in a project-based operation, optimizes and further develops industrial automation and system integration for our high-tech and unique production of high-voltage cables. Work broadly within industrial systems and networks as an OT Engineer
We are committed to having an updated production with the latest technology and developing innovative automation systems for our cable production. Within Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, we work on developing OT, industrial automation, and power systems. Before automation and OT solutions are implemented in production, we have a lab environment where our employees can test and quality assure their solutions.
Your tasks may include:
- Leading and being responsible for projects.
- Participating in requirement specification and solution design, in collaboration with automation engineers, IT/OT specialists, process engineers, and system suppliers.
- Working with compliance with the NIS Directive and cybersecurity within industrial networks and systems.
- Leading and planning for testing and updating of systems and industrial networks.
- Developing, configuring, and owning/managing industrial systems.
As an OT Engineer, you will become an important part of an engaged team at Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, consisting of approx. 10 employees with high technical competence, where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and support are a natural part of everyday life. We focus on future needs, technical development, and long-term improvements. The acute and daily maintenance is handled by the maintenance department.

We offer a varied and stimulating work environment. This is a hybrid role, where you have the opportunity to work from home 1–2 days per week.
Experience in industrial automation, system integration, and IT, as well as a collaborative personality
We are looking for you who want to work in a project form and appreciate varied tasks. To thrive and do a good job in this work, you need engagement and motivation. You work in a systematic way, are efficient, and collaborate well with your colleagues.
You also have:
- A technical degree from university, college, or vocational higher education with a focus on automation or IT, or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.
- Experience from relevant manufacturing/process industry, with work in industrial networks.
- Relevant education in OT/IT security or equivalent experience.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious is:
- Experience of working with compliance with the NIS Directive and good cybersecurity within industrial networks and systems.
- Knowledge of standards and guidelines in the area such as ISA/IEC 62443.
- Several years of experience in industrial automation (PLC/HMI/SCADA).
