The Naval Base is now looking for a Production Coordinator with a focus on technical services for employment at the Naval Workshop. About the Department

MarinV's UV (Underwater Weapons Department) performs maintenance on existing underwater weapon systems and associated support systems in the Navy. This means work is carried out on torpedoes, mines, and depth charges. The Naval Workshop's UV department consists of approximately 30 employees and the department is part of the Naval Workshops with operations in central and southern Sweden. We are now looking for employees in Karlskrona.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ordering maintenance on own equipment and machinery
  • Control of incoming goods and register maintenance
  • Register maintenance and inventory of own warehouse

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3-year upper secondary education with passing grades
  • 2 years of experience in administrative work
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Experience working in a digital environment
  • Knowledge of Office
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, in Swedish and English
  • Category B driver's license (manual transmission)

Merits

  • Experience handling the Swedish Armed Forces' accounting systems: LIFT, Prio, etc.
  • Previous experience working with Swedish Armed Forces equipment
  • Basic military training (GSU or VPL)
  • Technical English
  • Experience in technical services within the Swedish Armed Forces

Other Information

Employment Type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.

Workload: Full-time.

Location: Karlskrona.

Start Date: By agreement.

The position is civilian.

The position involves conducting business trips, participating in training and exercises in the wartime organization.

The overarching task of the Naval Base is to support the naval units with logistics such as transport, basing, security, and healthcare, both domestically and abroad. The Naval Base is headquartered in Karlskrona but operates where needed, for example in Berga/Muskö, south of Stockholm, and in Gothenburg. Other major tasks for the Naval Base include monitoring Sweden's 2,700 km long coastline and territorial waters.
