Your Role
We are now looking for a production engineer with knowledge and practical experience in production within surface treatment as well as general production engineering work. You will be the first point of contact for production and work operationally with ongoing production support in the relevant area. You will also be the driving force in daily support matters aimed at improving and streamlining our production.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support ongoing production by ensuring that the right production engineering conditions exist in areas such as:
- Layout and workplace design
- Tools, work aids, and equipment
- Operationally resolve problems and practically implement short-term improvements
- Input to long-term improvements and production methods
- Streamlining existing processes and methods
- Drive and document improvement work
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and practical skills, preferably with a few years of experience in production engineering or workshop production. You have a strong inner drive and want to find ways forward to achieve results. You enjoy being in the "hot seat" and are solution-oriented, tackling your tasks methodically and efficiently. You have the ability to solve tasks independently but also work well in a team. Academic ability to link/implement completed assignments and improvements to/in processes and instructions.
For this profile, it is desirable/meritorious to have:
- Experience from any of the areas of Surface Treatment, Mechanical Work
- Experience in production engineering work, as well as from production in the manufacturing industry
- Experience from the shipbuilding industry
- Experience in project form
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
