Planning Engineer in Mechanics

Hughes Power System AB in Nättraby is looking for a mechanical engineer with experience in planning and review work.

You will perform the following tasks:

Conduct operational production, information, and material planning based on estimated volumes, actual consumption, and inventory management.

Review mechanical designs in consultation with the designer based on functional and manufacturing technical requirements.

Time operations, calculate labor, inventory, transport, service, and production costs.

The company's customers are from New Zealand, Africa, North America, and Central Europe. Customers include railway companies and electricity distribution companies. We have all conceivable electrical engineering equipment, climate simulation equipment, a modern machine shop with several CNC-controlled machines, 5-axis simultaneous milling, a sheet metal workshop with laser cutting equipment, bending presses, and a robotic laser welding system in progress. We manufacture most of the components in our products.
