Service Engineer

Your Role

As a service engineer, you will work with new installations and maintenance of communication systems on marine platforms. You will also be responsible for commissioning, modifications, verifications, and delivery inspections of our customers' systems. For larger installations, you will lead the installation work carried out together with various equipment suppliers. Additionally, you will conduct service, troubleshooting, and annual inspections on existing systems.

Your Profile

You have a technical high school education or equivalent focus in electronics/telecommunications. It is also desirable if you have further education at YTH/University in telecommunications, network technology, or equivalent. You have good knowledge of configuring networks & computers, as well as good knowledge of measurement technology for antenna/radio systems. The job requires you to master technical English. Practical experience in working with radio, communication systems, electronics, and networks is an advantage.

It is important that you have a good ability to work independently and in a team. Personal suitability will be highly valued. The job also includes some domestic travel, but international travel may occur. Therefore, a driver's license is a requirement. As a person, you are open and communicative and find it easy to collaborate with your colleagues.

Your work is characterized by a sense of responsibility and a strong ability to approach problems and new situations in a logical and systematic way.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
