Are you a confident accountant looking to work at the heart of the green energy transition? We are now seeking an engaged colleague for one of our client's accounting teams located in Solna. The client is one of Europe's largest energy producers, and here you will have the chance to work in an expert-driven environment focused on sustainability and high-quality financial reporting. The role is placed within the client's central accounting expertise function, responsible for ensuring that the group's financial data maintains the highest quality and adheres to international standards. In this role, you will primarily focus on the Swedish parent company but may also take on companies from other countries. To facilitate your onboarding and ensure a smooth handover, well-prepared instructions and guides are already available for most work tasks!

You will play a central role in the closing and reporting work. Your main responsibilities include:

• Reporting: Preparation and quality assurance of financial reports for quarterly and annual reports for the parent company.
• Ongoing accounting: Responsibility for activities in the general ledger, accruals, and bookings in accordance with internal and external requirements.
• Closing work: Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure that timelines are adhered to.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensure that accounting complies with IFRS and local Swedish legislation (local GAAP), although knowledge of K3 is sufficient as a merit.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external auditors, and their global partners for outsourcing business processes.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you are a meticulous and analytical person who enjoys taking responsibility. You are used to working structured towards deadlines and have good communication skills.

Qualifications:

• University degree in finance or accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in ongoing accounting and statutory reporting, preferably within a larger, complex organization.
• Good knowledge of K3 and Swedish accounting legislation.
• Experience working in SAP and good knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
