We are now looking for a psychologist for the Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic for Psychosis in Lund. The position is shared between the inpatient ward 1/Piva and the outpatient clinic in Lund.

Our mission is assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals with psychotic disorders. We work based on the national guidelines for interventions for patients with schizophrenia. Care interventions are tailored to the patient's needs and the individual care plan.

In outpatient care, we operate according to the treatment model F-ACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment), which means we have close collaboration both within our own team and with municipalities and healthcare partners. The team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists. Care interventions are adapted to meet the patient's needs during both acute phases and recovery/rehabilitation. Collaboration between professions is crucial, and the availability of various interventions is high. We also work with first-episode psychosis (Nip), which is a method aimed at supporting the patient and their network through family conversations based on a systems theory foundation.

Ward 1/Piva has 16 beds divided between the psychosis ward and Piva (psychiatric intensive care unit). Here, the team consists of doctors, social workers, nurses, nursing assistants, and psychologists. Patients with various forms of psychiatric issues are treated in the acute phase.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a psychologist with us, you will work with assessment, investigation, treatment, consultation, and supervision. This position offers an opportunity to contribute a psychological perspective to inpatient care and to follow the patient through various parts of the care process.

We are looking for a licensed psychologist for our psychosis services who wants to work in a structured and knowledge-based care environment. With us, you will work based on evidence-based methods and standardized care processes, focusing on quality, continuity, and patient involvement. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where treatment, investigation, and follow-up occur according to established guidelines and care programs.

In the daily outpatient work, you will independently control the method and duration of your treatments. You play an important role in the F-ACT team and always have the team’s support. We value that the psychologist group can offer a breadth of psychological treatment based on different theoretical frameworks. Your psychological competence and knowledge are important both for the team and in working with both established patients and individuals being assessed for suspected psychotic disorders.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed psychologist with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. You also have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1, according to the Council of Europe’s level scale. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working as a psychologist in psychiatry, preferably with experience in CBT treatment.
