At Hässleholm Hospital, about 80 people work within the rehabilitation unit (VO) divided into 5 different teams, responsible for all rehabilitation in outpatient and inpatient care at the hospital. Within our unit, there are specialist clinics such as pain rehabilitation, memory clinic, and rehabilitation clinic.
In our orthopedic unit, we work both in inpatient and outpatient care. In inpatient care, we mainly focus on mobilizing, caring for, and monitoring patients after elective orthopedic procedures. We work with early mobilization of all patients and participate in various research projects. In outpatient care, we meet patients at different stages of their rehabilitation, including follow-ups after joint replacements, referral assessments, and sports medicine issues. Together, we create a dynamic workplace with breadth, variation, and a strong patient focus.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We now welcome a physiotherapist colleague to us in the VO rehabilitation within the orthopedic area.
As a physiotherapist with us, you will primarily work with examination/assessment and follow-up of patients with orthopedic problems. The work within the position is varied and includes work in the orthopedic and day surgery department as well as outpatient work mainly with follow-ups after orthopedic surgery. Outpatient work means that you may need to work with your own responsibility for radiological investigations, for which you will receive training as part of the position. Rehabilitation with group activities is also included in the work.
The working hours are mainly scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. Additionally, we would like you to have experience in clinical work as well as experience in postoperative rehabilitation of joint replacements in the knee, hip, and shoulder, as well as after arthroscopic procedures in the knee and shoulder. Joint assessments of patients are common, so we see that you have an interest and experience in collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. It is also considered an advantage if you have completed level 1 and 2 training in Sports Medicine or equivalent.
