The Department of Health and Medical Care is responsible for services within home healthcare and rehabilitation. The services are provided by nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, who also delegate to care staff in other areas of operation based on their profession.

The Care Administration in Hässleholm Municipality is now looking for HSL nursing assistants for the summer of 2026. We offer you a varied and educational summer job where you make a difference in someone's daily life.

As an HSL nursing assistant, you will be placed in the nursing organization of the Care Administration, where work is performed both in regular and special housing. We work to provide our patients with good care and support. As a nursing assistant in the nursing organization, your tasks will be HSL-oriented, and we perform healthcare tasks based on municipal responsibility.

We are now looking for HSL nursing assistants for the summer. We offer full-time positions with working hours from Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 16:00.

In the role of HSL nursing assistant, you will perform tasks delegated by the nurse. You will receive training and be guided by colleagues during the introduction. The tasks may vary but include wound/compression treatment, sampling, handling of tubes, stomas, dressing changes from simple to advanced wounds, catheter care, and nephrostomy management.

You will also perform delegated tasks such as insulin administration and other types of injections, etc.

Who are you?

Since you work closely with people in need of our services, it is important that you are calm and secure. You need to have a good approach and understanding of other people's needs and feelings. It is important that you have strong social skills as the work for patient-safe care involves collaboration both within and outside our own operations.

In this role, you need to be comfortable working alone as the work is performed in the patients' own homes. You can take responsibility for your tasks, are flexible and proactive, and have a good ability to build relationships with others. As a person, you value good collaboration with others and see the benefits of teamwork.

Requirements:

• Trained nursing assistant with specialized training or extensive experience in care.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills (we document in Procapita).
• Driving license B for a manual transmission vehicle.

Meritorious:

Previous experience in healthcare and medical technology equipment and the ability to handle delegation in all areas.

Before employment, you need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, which is done by showing that you have Swedish citizenship, citizenship within the EU/EES, or a valid residence and/or work permit.

We conduct language tests for positions within elderly care, so you may need to take a test before a possible employment.

To be employed as a nursing assistant with us, you need to provide proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from the employer of permanent employment as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023. Attach this to your application.
