Social Worker for Financial Assistance

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a social worker for financial assistance. The main task is to support, motivate, and investigate individuals' conditions on their path to self-sufficiency, while also handling the right to financial assistance according to the Social Services Act. The role includes regular contacts with both individuals and internal and external collaboration partners. You will have a very client-centered job and meet your clients regularly every month.

Our goal is to conduct qualified investigative work characterized by good treatment, well-founded decisions, and high legal certainty. It is an enjoyable job with great variety, different assignments, and many contacts that provide a wide range of tasks every day.

In the unit, there are experienced social workers who, together with your manager, will guide and support you in your daily work.

If necessary, you may need to support social workers working with children and families, as well as social workers dealing with harmful use and dependency and violence. All social workers are gathered in the same workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in social work or another academic education deemed equivalent by the employer.

The job requires that you have good computer skills, a well-developed administrative ability, and that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to social work and a genuine interest in social issues. You value the meeting with clients and see it as a central part of successful social work. Your approach is professional, you have good collaboration skills, and you show both understanding and interest in other people. You find it easy to create and maintain good relationships and always work with the client's best interests in focus.

It is important that you can work structured both independently and in a group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in financial assistance
• Experience working in Lifecare
• Training in MI

A driver's license for a manual transmission is required.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
