Your Mission

As a personal assistant, you work in the individual's home and always start from the user's individual needs, wishes, and conditions. The tasks include individualized care, support in everyday situations, participation in activities, as well as social support and companionship. The work is planned and documented in accordance with the individual implementation plan.

Since the work is performed in the user's home, high demands are placed on independence, responsibility, and professionalism. At the same time, you are part of a workgroup that works closely together and meets regularly for dialogue, follow-up, and collaboration.

Your Competence

Formal education is not a requirement for the position, but it is strongly meritorious and recommended as the caregiving part of the work is extensive and places high demands on knowledge, responsibility, and a professional approach.

For those who lack relevant education or previous experience, we offer thorough introduction and training at the workplace, so that you feel secure in your tasks and in your role as a personal assistant.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is confident, structured, and can work independently
• Has good collaboration skills and a humble approach
• Is flexible and can adapt to different situations and needs
• Is attentive, empathetic, and shows respect for self-determination, integrity, and freedom of choice
• Has experience working with people (meritorious but not required)
• Has healthcare education or equivalent experience (meritorious but not required)

As a person, you are solution-focused, responsible, and have the ability to create engagement around tasks and operations. You are positive, see opportunities, and thrive in a changing work environment. You have a calm, attentive, and respectful demeanor as well as good pedagogical skills and understanding of people's different conditions. You can plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and meet set deadlines.

The working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night, which means you need to be flexible in your availability. The operations are conducted throughout the municipality.

It is meritorious if you have an interest in fishing, as this is an important part of the individual's daily life. A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are also an advantage.
