The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats against Sweden.

About the Unit
The Signal Control Section of the Security Intelligence Department at Must works to indicate, clarify, and counter security-threatening activities and to conduct defense intelligence operations related to security-threatening actors. A large part of the work is focused on foreign states' intelligence activities directed against Sweden, Swedish interests, and the Armed Forces.
Main Responsibilities
You will work with planning, collection, processing, and some analysis of information. Developing methods and monitoring the environment within technology and methodology is part of the job. You will play a driving role in the daily operations and the section's operational activities. Both national and international travel may occur.
Qualifications
- Experience from intelligence and/or security service.
- Officer training (OF/OR), or equivalent experience deemed comparable by the employer.
- Very good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
- Driver's license B.
Desirable
- Broad knowledge of the Armed Forces.
- Experience from operational work within the Armed Forces or related authorities.
- Education focused on data and/or telecommunications, or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.
- Experience in analyzing large data sets.
Personal Qualities
As a person, you have very high integrity and great patience, and you are initiative-taking and creative. You enjoy working on long-term tasks as well as solving tasks under tight time constraints. You appreciate solving problems in a group but can also independently take responsibility for driving assigned tasks forward. You have good social skills, a curious approach, and a developed ability for constructive critical thinking in complex contexts. Your distinguishing traits are integrity, analytical ability, and responsiveness, while you do not have a need to be in the spotlight or receive public recognition for your achievements. Furthermore, you have a high awareness of security and confidentiality.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
The qualifications listed above must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests.

Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required.
