Stockholm Amphibious Regiment is Hiring Professional Officers
Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) is evolving and changing to meet future goals while also adhering to today’s high standards. Our primary mission is to train combat units and maintain readiness. Amf 1 is now seeking professional officers who want to work in the security company at the Garrison Unit.
The security company conducts security and IBSS duties within Haninge Garrison and in the Stockholm archipelago. The task of the security company is to staff the regiment's garrison guards, firing range guards, external service as a readiness protection force, and patrolling on land and at sea. The work is characterized by great mobility and is mainly conducted as shift work with concentrated working hours and some duty at the workplace.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the position are to lead and allocate security duties/operations and manage personnel services for platoon and company management outside regular working hours. In addition to the operational chief duties, you are also expected to serve as an instructor at the company or at external training sessions for shorter periods.

Qualifications
- Completed approved professional officer training.
- Approved health examination and physical requirements for the position.
- Driver's license B, Manual

Employment type: Employment according to the Officer Ordinance §17. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) operates where water meets land and serves as the link between naval and army combat forces. The Amphibious Battalion's weapon systems allow us to operate in four dimensions: on and under the water surface, in the air, and on land. This enables us to exert control over coastal areas. The Marine Base Battalion logistics supports the Navy's units and is both land and sea-based. Amf 1 trains soldiers, sailors, coastal rangers, and officers in various main services. Amf 1 has production responsibility for combat units. The Amphibious Battalion, Marine Base Battalion, and Marine Military Base Haninge. The unit is based in Haninge (Berga).
