Information about the Swedish Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:
Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) operates where water meets land and serves as the link between naval and army combat forces. The 2nd Amphibious Battalion's weapon systems allow us to operate in four dimensions: on and under the water surface, in the air, and on land. Thus, we can exercise control over coastal areas. The 2nd Naval Base Battalion provides logistical support to naval units and is both land and sea-based. Amf 1 trains soldiers, sailors, coastal rangers, and officers in various main services. Amf 1 has production responsibility for the combat units: Amphibious Battalion, 2nd Naval Base Battalion, and Marine Military Base Haninge. The unit is based in Haninge (Berga).
