About the unit:
The unit Swedish Armed Forces Logistics, FMLOG, is a military unit consisting of several units operating throughout Sweden. The staff is located in Stockholm and aims to support the unit commander. You will be employed in the Training and Experience Section, which is one of several sections at the FMLOG Staff Implementation Department. The section's responsibility includes training and exercise efforts for civilian and military personnel to develop our military unit's capabilities. The section currently consists of a section chief, planning officer, civilian administrators, and military instructors. Within the FMLOG unit, there is an opportunity to grow as an officer and broaden your knowledge of logistics in the Swedish Armed Forces and NATO, as you will be offered participation in national and international logistics training and exercises.
Main tasks:
As a planning officer at FMLOG Staff, you will lead and participate in the unit's central planning processes and have a key role in the collaboration between the Planning Department and the Implementation Department regarding coordinating and supporting various planning tasks as a representative of FMLOG. Your main task is to coordinate the unit's joint activities regarding military training, including Combat Training and Basic Soldier Training for the unit's civilian employees together with the section's unit instructors. This means that you will attend the implementation of military training planned throughout the year. The position thus involves weekend duties and travel within the country, as well as outdoor work during all seasons being part of the job. FMLOG is in a growth phase, and the tasks may develop and change over time.
Qualifications:
- Specialist or officer training
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Driver's license (manual).
Meritorious:
- Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' national/international logistics.
- Previous experience as a unit instructor/training officer
- Officer training with a focus on logistics or equivalent experience.
- Experience of service at staff.
- Experience in unit development.
- Experience of overseas service in a logistics unit or in a logistics role.
Personal qualities:
You have a good ability to work independently as well as enjoy collaborating within the department and with the surrounding organization. You easily make contacts and your good communication skills are highly appreciated. You have a strong sense of responsibility and solve delegated tasks while supporting your colleagues in achieving the department's common goals. You are structured with good planning skills and the ability to see the big picture. You also have the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in the short and long term. You are confident in making priorities and decisions. You have the ability to adapt to occasionally more intense work periods and use the time in between to create smarter planning and conditions for upcoming implementations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Salary: The Swedish Armed Forces applies individual salary setting.
The employment is a permanent position with a 100% employment rate, starting with a 6-month probationary period (does not apply if you are already employed by the Swedish Armed Forces) and military placement in FMLOG. The position is not suitable for remote work. Working hours mainly during the day but also evening work, weekends, and travel occur. Health and fitness are a natural part of everyday life.
