We are looking for a Project Manager for transmission projects for an authority in the power sector.

This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Sundsvall or Luleå.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves working as a project manager for transmission projects related to the expansion of the national grid. The assignment is in a line role where specific projects cannot be determined in advance. The projects may include the construction of overhead lines in larger and complex projects, demolition of older lines, and possibly earlier phases of design. Placement is based on competence and focus.

The project manager is responsible for driving projects towards set goals within the given time and budget constraints. Based on project directives, a project plan is developed that the project must follow. Any deviations are reported to the program management through the main project manager. The projects are managed according to the project management model PPS. The role may also, in consultation with the client, work on other projects with the same role, level, and tasks, but not exceeding full-time. The client is responsible for ensuring that the security classification corresponds to the work performed.

Responsibilities

Plan the project work

Procure the project's contracts with support from the Procurement Unit

Manage assigned technical and support resources consisting of internal resources and consultants

Be responsible for health and safety and environmental issues in the project

Throughout the project, be responsible for the health and safety work required by the client

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Civil or university engineering degree, or experience deemed equivalent by the client.

At least 10 years of work experience in the role of project manager or equivalent role.

At least 5 years of work experience in project management within a client organization for large and complex projects with a budget exceeding 50 million SEK in infrastructure/community building/construction or equivalent.

Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Experience in managing and following up on health and safety, environmental, (electrical) safety, and quality issues. Also, experience leading and driving both project meetings and construction meetings. The experience must have been gained in assignments with contracts based on AB 04 or ABT 06 with a contract value exceeding 50 million SEK.

Meritorious

Completed ESA training.

Completed Bas-P and Bas-U courses in the last 3 years.

Work experience in project management within power line projects with voltage levels of 130-400 kV.

Experience acting as a representative in a contract.
