We are looking for a school nurse for IES Kista, which consists of 650 students and is part of the International School AB (IES) that today consists of 46 primary schools across the country. For over 30 years, IES has made a significant difference for our students. The central student health medical service at IES consists of MLA, coordinating school nurses, and resource nurses who work closely with school nurses at the schools. From central EMI, we offer, among other things, the introduction of new employees, networking meetings, and ongoing training, as well as close availability for support and questions. As a school nurse, you work closely in the IES Student Health Team, as well as with management, teachers, mentors, and student support staff. The position primarily targets students in Kista and includes regular tasks according to the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare and the National Agency for Education, such as: health conversations and health checks, open reception for students, medical consultations, vaccinations, and preventive and health-promoting work at group and organizational levels. You work closely with the school's other school nurse and collaborate with the principal and other professionals in the student health team to support students' development towards educational goals. Collaboration with municipalities and other agencies, as well as contact with guardians, is a natural part of the work. Qualifications: Licensed nurse with specialist training in: child and youth, district nurse, or school nurse program. Previous experience as a school nurse is an advantage.
