Who are we?
Health and Care Organization 2 is a community-based team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The area of responsibility currently includes 5 special accommodations for the elderly with permanent and respite care places. These accommodations are located at Bygdevägen 15 in Vikbolandet, Silverringen 56, Lindövägen 102, Plåtslagaregatan 8, and Trumpetaregatan 2. In the spring, we will also include the accommodation at Klingsbergsgatan 34.
The nursing group is a mix of specialist and general trained nurses. We have some who are newly graduated and others with long experience. We enjoy each other's expertise and help each other when needed.
We are looking for colleagues for our accommodation in Östra Husby and for accommodation in Norrköping. You will be placed in one accommodation as the primary nurse, but we move between accommodations as needed.
Your responsibilities
The care is focused on ensuring that the elderly can live a dignified life and feel well-being. Together with other employees, you are responsible for ensuring that the users receive good and safe care and participate in the work of developing quality and patient safety.
As a nurse, you will have a health and care assignment, with primary and secondary responsibility for the users living in the accommodation. The role of the primary nurse means that you have primary responsibility for a number of users, and as a secondary nurse, you have a consulting responsibility for a larger number of users, for example, when your colleagues are on leave or during weekends.
You will work with preventive measures, make medical assessments and provide nursing interventions as well as perform regular nursing tasks such as doctor contacts, sampling, medication management, issuing delegations, palliative care, and more.
The work itself is varied and free, where you largely plan and perform interventions within the framework of health and care.
With us, you only work daytime and have about two weekend shifts every 7-8 weeks. At 5:00 PM, the evening and night organization takes over.
Wellness benefits are available.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and who wants to work in special accommodations for the elderly with commitment, responsibility, and a positive attitude. We would like you to have experience in elderly care, dementia diseases, and palliative care, but we place great importance on your personal qualities and your willingness to develop together with the organization.
You have the ability to lead yourself in daily work and feel confident in adapting to new situations, working methods, and changes that may arise in the organization.
Even in periods of high workload, you remain calm, work in a structured manner, and have the ability to prioritize while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
In your interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues, you are attentive and empathetic, with a good understanding of people's different needs and feelings. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive the work forward, but you also have the judgment to ask for support or collaborate with others when needed to ensure good and safe care.
Collaboration is a natural part of your working method, and you actively contribute to good teamwork by sharing knowledge, communicating openly, and working towards a safe and harmonious work group.
You master Swedish in speech and writing and have a B driver's license.
Welcome with your application!
