As a laboratory technician, you will perform operational and quality analyses in the laboratory. You will collect samples from the factory, conduct analyses, report results in the system, and manage environmental and product samples to external laboratories. Through daily monitoring of outgoing products and incoming raw materials such as grain, you ensure product quality as a Laboratory Technician.
The role also includes sampling and analysis of process samples to follow up on operations and self-monitoring programs. You are responsible for ensuring the operational safety and measurement accuracy of laboratory instruments and ordering consumables for instruments and analyses.
Job responsibilities
- Take production-related samples and analyses according to applicable instructions.
- Document results.
- Perform maintenance on laboratory equipment.
- Actively participate in the work of improving and further developing processes and methods.
- Report deviations in accordance with current procedures for handling deviations.
- Work together with the lab team to ensure a good working environment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Your profile We are looking for someone who either has a year or two of experience in a similar role or is currently studying at a university or college in a field relevant to the position. To thrive in the role, you should enjoy analytical work and be meticulous, structured, and passionate about laboratory work. Another important quality is that you enjoy working in a team where you take responsibility for achieving results through collaboration while also having strong self-leadership and ownership of what you undertake.
Furthermore, you have good computer skills and the ability to familiarize yourself with new systems and programs. You are fluent in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
Since sampling occurs in the factory from silos and other high points, it is important that you are not afraid of heights. A safe working environment is important to us, and we expect you to follow the procedures and safety regulations in place.
