Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives! As an ideal candidate for the nursing assistant position at Åstugan, you are a caring and committed person with a great deal of empathy. You have a natural ability to build trust and relationships with both residents and colleagues.

• You have a certified nursing assistant education, and documented experience in dementia care is an advantage.
• Experience working with low-arousal approaches is an advantage.
• You have good communication skills.
• You are used to working in teams and contributing to a positive work environment, but you can also work independently and take your own initiatives.
• You share our vision of providing our residents with the best possible care and support.
• You are flexible and can adapt to different situations that may arise in the work environment.
• You document in Life Care and contribute to creating implementation plans together with the resident and their relatives.
• For the assignment, computer skills are required and you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• A valid driver's license (B) and access to your own car are required, as public transport is difficult.

The role also involves

As a nursing assistant at Hällestadgården, you will play a central role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our residents. Your work will include:

• Providing personal care and support in daily life, which includes assistance with hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Actively participating in the planning and implementation of meaningful activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
• Documenting and following up on implementation plans, as well as contributing to a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes joy of life.
• Collaborating with colleagues and acting according to the routine of contact responsibility between residents, relatives, and other care staff.
