We are looking for a nurse or district nurse who wants to be part of our meaningful everyday life and develop the care we offer our patients.

Our Offer

The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers during evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The health center is centrally located in Skäggetorp in fresh and functional premises. The nearly 8,900 patients listed at the health center largely have a multicultural background, and the patient's meeting and relationship with care is of particular importance. Over the past year, we have had a telephone availability of >95%, which enables continuity and preventive work.

Job Description

Your tasks at the health center are varied and cover the general medical area where you meet patients from different backgrounds of all ages. In first-line care, you work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment in telephone counseling and nursing reception. In both acute and planned activities, you receive patients and collaborate with other professionals in the care process. We work with emergency teams to strengthen collaboration and competence in our professional groups. Through varied tasks, you will become part of a developed and stimulating work environment.

We strive to utilize your specific skills but also create conditions to work with areas you are interested in at our specialist clinics. You will receive a tailored introduction and participate in training to feel secure in your role as a nurse. We offer individually tailored schedules with flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work. We place great importance on a good work environment with a balance between demands and resources. We have category meetings with the nursing group every week to plan, develop, and collaborate among us.

Work Group

About 40 employees from different professional groups work at the health center. You will work closely with colleagues, work cross-professionally, and collaborate with other actors such as home care.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in primary care is an advantage. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - corresponding to C1 level, as the work involves constant dialogue with patients and colleagues. It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of Cosmic.

You work evidence-based and are professional in your approach. Furthermore, you have good initiative, collaboration skills, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. We prefer that you are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession; if you are new to the profession, we have experienced colleagues who can offer good support on your way to becoming secure in your professional role. We want to develop the care we offer our citizens in Skäggetorp, and to do this, we need curious and driven employees, and we therefore place great importance on personal suitability.
