We are now looking for dedicated nursing assistants for night work at two of our special accommodations.

Description of the workplace

We are looking for nursing assistants for two of our special accommodations in Kinda municipality, located in Kisa and Horn. Bergdala nursing home is Kinda municipality's largest nursing home and is located in Kisa. Bergdala consists of 71 apartments distributed over 8 departments. Here you will find:

• 4 departments with a dementia focus
• 3 departments with a somatic focus
• 1 department for short-term care and nursing care places

Stångågården nursing home is Kinda municipality's smallest nursing home and is located in Horn. Stångågården consists of 18 apartments distributed over two departments: Skogsgläntan with a somatic focus of 12 places and our small dementia-focused department Lyktan with 6 places.

Job description

Care work is an important, fun, and developing job where you provide support and assistance to people in their daily lives. We work based on a common value foundation where we consider each person's conditions, create participation, and make everyday life meaningful.

As a nursing assistant at night, you will work independently and responsibly with varying tasks, including:

• Implementation of approved interventions
• Documentation according to SoL and HSL
• Handling delegated health and medical care interventions
• Creating security and good relationships with users and relatives

The meeting with the individual is always in focus. Through a professional and respectful approach, you contribute to security, participation, and good care.

Working hours are scheduled at night, including weekends. Staff meetings occur during the day.

Qualifications

You take great responsibility in your profession and show judgment and respect. You work systematically and have a strong ability to reflect, assess, and handle various situations that can change rapidly based on your own competence. It is important that you can balance different demands and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations. You find it easy to create and maintain good relationships with others and are confident in meetings and difficult conversations.

You have a strong ability to work independently, but also together with others. Since we are legally obligated to document our work, it is crucial that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills. Finally, you are a person with a genuine interest in people and service.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious:

• Specialist education in dementia or palliative care
• Knowledge of low-arousal approaches
• Lifecare documentation system
