At the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping (BUP), qualified psychiatric assessment and treatment work is conducted. We are about 150 employees who together shape the future of child psychiatry. The core activities consist of outpatient, inpatient, and intermediate care, as well as several subspecialized units and teams such as trauma reception and gender identity reception. At the clinic, we work for a good working environment and have a warm and open workplace climate. Job Description

As a nurse at BUP, you work with the most important thing there is – our children and adolescents. This position is 50% at the BUP reception and 50% at our inpatient department S102. The arrangement is made in dialogue and can result in daytime 100% or mixed rotation based on your preferences.

As a nurse at the BUP reception, you work independently with your own patient visits and assessments. This position will focus on medication follow-ups after external assessments. You have close collaboration with other professionals, and the work involves cooperation with relatives, authorities, and care neighbors.

In department S102, you have a central role in the care work and become a key person in the team. The tasks are varied and include, among other things, leadership and collaboration with several professionals, medication management, sampling, and educational meals, conversations with patients and parents, as well as collaboration with housing, authorities, and care neighbors.

Work Group

We are a positive and ambitious group who enjoy working in teams and helping each other. At the clinic, we have close collaboration with doctors, psychologists, caregivers, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and physiotherapists.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We prefer that you have a few years of professional experience in psychiatry and/or with children and adolescents.

As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability such as collaboration ability, stability, and flexibility. We believe that you are curious to learn and willing to try new things, as well as having the ability to work both independently with your own responsibility and in a team.
