Welcome to a workplace where we not only dare to think outside the box – we encourage it! In Åtvidaberg Municipality, we work with courage, a holistic perspective, and long-term thinking in everything we do.

We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist for our care and rehabilitation team!

The care and rehabilitation team works within the municipality's home healthcare, special housing, and LSS operations. Our goal is to contribute to cohesive care and support with a holistic perspective based on individual needs.

Your responsibilities

The position is divided into two areas of responsibility.

The first part is directed towards the municipality's LSS operations, where you will work closely with group and service housing, day centers, and social psychiatry. In this part of the assignment, you will contribute your expertise to strengthen the individual's participation, independence, and quality of life.

The second part of the position is placed within the labor market unit and involves participation in the EU-funded project Fast Track. The project's goal is to strengthen individuals' path to self-sufficiency through more precise, effective, and individualized interventions. Your responsibilities include assessing activity and work capacity for individuals who are outside the labor market.

This is an independent job where you set your own schedule and plan and implement interventions. You prioritize your workday both independently and together with your colleagues based on the cases you are responsible for. In your role, there is also a strong focus on teamwork. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other professionals around patients, such as physiotherapists, nurses, care staff, case managers, unit managers, and external partners.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist and prefer that you have previous experience in municipal rehabilitation with a focus on LSS. It is desirable if you have experience working with assessments using the instruments WRI, DOA, and AWP. A valid driver's license is required as the position involves travel within the municipality. We also expect you to have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.

To succeed in this role, we see that you enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have good collaboration skills and work goal-oriented to achieve results.

About the employment

The position is a temporary contract that extends from the summer of 2026 until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension in project form until January 2029. Start date is according to agreement.
