Do you want to work broadly, independently, and still be part of a strong team? We are now looking for an occupational therapist for Vårdcentralen Kroksbäck and Vårdcentralen Gullviksborg, two healthcare centers focused on development, good collaboration, and great commitment to our patients.

Vårdcentralen Kroksbäck is one of Malmö's oldest healthcare centers with approximately 6,100 registered patients. We have over 25 employees and work in two interdisciplinary teams according to the Alaska model, where the patient is an obvious part of the team.

We have a stable medical staffing, a good working environment, and flexible working hours with ample opportunity for participation and influence. The operation is in strong development with a newly started diabetes clinic, urgent care, and family center, and we plan to start an asthma/COPD clinic. Adjacent to this is Rehab Kroksbäck and the Child Health Center Kroksbäck.

At Vårdcentralen Gullviksborg, we have about 7,200 registered patients and around 25 employees. We have a good working climate with close collaboration between professions and a high focus on patient safety.

Here, there are several specialist clinics such as diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, and asthma/COPD, as well as BVC in the Family House Nydala with about 900 registered children. We have interdisciplinary rehab meetings every other week. The operation is conducted in fresh premises with good communications in southern Malmö.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist, you will work with outpatient visits, home visits, and group treatments for patients of all ages. You will independently plan your workday and closely collaborate with physiotherapists, doctors, and nurses.

Your responsibilities include diagnosing and treating issues in the hand, forearm, and elbow, rehabilitation, cognitive assessments, and activity and function assessments prior to sick leave. You will also work with patients with chronic pain and stress-related issues and be responsible for prescribing assistive devices based on needs.

We are keen to find the right person for the position and therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Regarding the formal requirements for the position, we welcome you as a licensed occupational therapist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are also a requirement. We consider it an advantage if you have worked for a few years in the profession and have experience in primary care and master PMO.
