JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant* and care assistant within Knivsta Municipality, you work according to the Social Services Act to develop and support individuals so they have the opportunity to live an independent life. You assist them in their daily lives, and your tasks include personal care, cleaning, meal support, and social interaction, as well as delegated tasks such as medication management.

As a personal assistant within Knivsta Municipality, you work according to the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Disabilities. You work in the user's home, and your tasks include personal care, cleaning, meal support, and social interaction, as well as delegated tasks such as medication management.

*As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant within care and support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant, care assistant, or personal assistant. You are empathetic and have a genuine interest in working with people. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented, responsible, and have the ability to respond to various situations calmly and professionally. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a good working environment.

To be considered for the position, we see that you have:

• A valid extract from the criminal record.
• Good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• A driving license (B). This applies only to work in home care.

For these roles, it is advantageous if you have formal training as a nursing assistant and proof of a protected professional title. Experience in care and support is also an advantage.
