Today, about 320 people work in our department, and we act on behalf of the technical committee, the environmental and building permit committee, and the municipal executive office. Our mission is important, and together we create the future Järfälla – a place for everyone.

The department consists of two operations, water and waste, each with its own unit manager. The position is under the water unit.

The water unit works to manage the existing water supply network and provides expertise in planning and development issues. The department includes investigating and planning the need for operational and renewal measures. We lead our own investment projects and serve as a resource for technical support, review, and ensure good water solutions in planning and development projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work primarily involves contact with citizens and businesses regarding water consumption, services, and financial issues supported by water legislation and water tariffs. Other tasks include assisting the finance department with invoicing, investigating consumption issues, helping with mailings, writing delegation decisions, and updating the subscriber register.

As a subscriber engineer, you have an independent, responsible, and varied assignment with a strong focus on structure, service, and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education in community building or administration in public administration or other equivalent education.

You have several years of experience working as a subscriber engineer or in qualified administrative work, preferably within public administration. We also appreciate a technical interest. You are service-oriented and communicative, both verbally and in writing. The work requires a high level of accuracy, legal security, and professional customer contact.

We are looking for someone with a positive outlook. As a person, you are unpretentious, responsive, and self-driven, work in a structured manner, and thrive in a team. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Desirable

• Experience working with the system tool EDP
• Experience in public administration
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of water legislation
