We are seeking a senior fullstack developer to join us at Svea who wants to create sustainable technical solutions for our customers. In this developer role, you will work alongside your colleagues to solve challenging problems. About the role You will be part of a development team within Svea Privat, an area that supports and builds central services for savings and loans for individuals. We are a small autonomous team where everyone contributes ideas and thoughts to create a dynamic and creative development environment. We value collaboration, combined with short feedback loops and continuous improvements, where you, as a fullstack developer, will work closely with colleagues to create innovative technical solutions for our customers. You will introduce modern tools and architectures that enhance the customer experience used by thousands of people every day.

Who are you? You have solid experience in development through which you can create simple and clean code even in a sometimes complex environment. You are an engaged team player who can also thrive as a senior and knowledgeable colleague who enjoys shared successes. Therefore, we believe you are confident and unpretentious in your work. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills, enjoy a social environment, and want to work closely with your colleagues both within the business area and with other roles. You value sharing knowledge as much as writing code.

Experiences and qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Java

• Excellent knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML

• Knowledge of continuous integration, quality assurance, and test automation

• Proficiency in Swedish and English in both spoken and written communication

• Higher education in computer science/system science or equivalent

It is a plus if you have experience working in banking and finance with insight into regulatory requirements and the ability to understand operational requirements that lead to customer benefits.
