About the Job
The Swedish Courts Administration is responsible for recruiting around 600 notaries each year to the country’s courts. The notary service is a cornerstone for supplying judges and prosecutors in Sweden, making a professional and correct recruitment process of utmost importance.
The responsibility for notary admissions lies with the Employer Unit in the HR department. Our department is entering an exciting phase of development. We are working on:
- future competence supply for judges and other key roles
- leadership development
- own AI development and new digital working methods
- preparations for a more independent authority in 2027
The HR department consists of five units and is characterized by a cross-functional, development-oriented approach with a focus on quality, collaboration, and results.
As an HR Administrator, you will be part of the team working with the recruitment and admission of notaries. The role also includes administrative tasks in collaboration with HR specialists in the unit and other units within the HR department.
Your Assignment
As an HR Administrator at the Notary Office, you will work on the recruitment of notaries for the country’s district courts and administrative courts. In this role, you will:
- have contacts with candidates, courts, and other stakeholders in the work of our notary admissions
- ensure requirements and qualifications among applicants
- conduct notary appointments
- contribute to the Swedish Courts as an attractive employer at legal fairs
- participate in the development of the Notary Office's work and the process surrounding notary admissions, e.g., through digitalization and the use of AI.
- provide administrative support across the entire HR department during recruitments, archiving, record-keeping, distribution of decisions, and more.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, meticulous, and passionate about service. We also see it as important that you have an interest in developing work methods and are curious about how AI and digital tools can enhance the work.
You:
- have experience in HR administration and/or recruitment
- have good knowledge and experience in using the Office suite and are also accustomed to handling various support systems
- have at least completed upper secondary education
- master the Swedish language very well in both spoken and written form
- are good at working in a team
- bring your personality and contribute to a good working environment
We would like you to:
- have post-secondary education in HR administration or other education that the employer deems relevant to the work
- have worked with administration in public operations

We are looking for an HR Administrator for a fixed-term employment of about one year with a possible extension. The place of employment is Jönköping.
We offer the opportunity for remote work up to two days a week. Within the Swedish Courts, we have individual salary setting.
