The Individual and Family Care (IFO) is part of the municipality's social services and works with support and interventions for children, youth, adults, and families in vulnerable life situations. Within the IFO Adult Investigation and LSS unit, we meet people with complex needs where issues of substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health often intersect.

We are now looking for a social worker for IFO Adult, focusing on harmful use and dependency as well as working with domestic violence (VINR) and partially social psychiatry to strengthen our unit. The assignment targets adults in complex life situations where mental health issues, comorbidity, and social vulnerability often interact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker at IFO Adult, you will have a qualified and varied job where your professional assessment makes a real difference.

As a social worker within Adult, you will be responsible for:

• Investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and LVM for individuals with harmful use and dependency, VINR, and social psychiatric needs
• Conducting structured assessments and working with motivational and change processes
• Planning, granting, and following up on interventions such as outpatient care, housing support, and treatment placements
• Collaborating with psychiatry, addiction care, primary care, and other authorities
• Documenting securely in Treserva Classic and Mitt Treserva
• On-call duty may occur according to schedule (once per term)
• Being part of our development journey in the adult area

The work combines independent responsibility with close collegial support and guidance from case supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer
• Has experience working with harmful use, dependency/comorbidity and/or domestic violence/social psychiatry
• Is confident in exercising authority and can make professional assessments even in complex cases
• Has a good ability to work administratively and meet clients based on their different conditions professionally.
• Works structured with a legally secure approach
• Has good collaboration skills and contributes to a positive work climate
• Expresses themselves well in speech and writing

Knowledge of comorbidity is an asset.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license is required.
