ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Rehabassistans are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Stöde. We offer hourly positions right now + summer substitutes! To be considered for the position, you need to be able to work to some extent during the summer.

The working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:

• 09:30-22:30 (this shift can sometimes be divided into day or evening shifts)

• 22:30-09:30 (awake night)

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his late 30s with a strong interest in training and who previously competed at an elite level. Training is very important to him - once a week he trains in the pool, and he also works out in his home gym and with his handcycle. Our client lives with his parents in a house that is adapted for him.

He needs support during the night with turning, toilet visits, monitoring, as well as during epileptic seizures and breathing difficulties. As an assistant, you also help with dressing and undressing, hygiene, medication, and communication, as the client has aphasia. You also assist with household chores and training. The client uses several aids that you as an assistant help him manage. These include an electric wheelchair, manual wheelchair, walker, cough machine, PEP mask, and visual support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license

• Access to a car

• Non-smoker

• Tolerates chlorine + basic swimming skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a personal assistant

• Other healthcare experience

• Healthcare education or equivalent

Employment rate: Hourly substitutes + summer substitutes

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
