Treatment Provider for the Resource Center Against Violence (RMV)

In our new Individual and Family Care, we have gathered the social services' authority and providers together with the labor market unit.

This is to create conditions for a more cohesive whole for those we are here for, from preventive work to more coordinated and collaborative teams that can meet individuals with greater needs.

To succeed with this change, both organizationally and culturally, we need to have the courage to try new things, to be curious about new opportunities and solutions, and to have an open mind for dialogue and learning for even better solutions. Within Individual and Family, we work for the right intervention for the right individual at the right time! Would you like to contribute with your knowledge and experience?

The Children, Youth, and Family Unit is one of IFO's nine units, and we are now looking for a treatment provider for the Resource Center Against Violence (RMV).

Job Responsibilities

The Resource Center Against Violence provides psychosocial support and treatment work within social services' outpatient care with a focus on violence in close relationships. The treatment work is assignment-based and aims to strengthen individuals' and families' opportunities for an independent life. All interventions within the Resource Center Against Violence are based on a systems theory foundation and a solution-focused approach.

  • Conduct therapeutic and supportive interventions for children and adults.
  • Document, follow up, and evaluate the work.
  • Develop and ensure the quality of the operations.

Qualifications

A degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems sufficient is required. Experience in psychosocial treatment work and good knowledge of systems theory, attachment theory, interaction theory, trauma theory, and developmental psychology is desirable.

Knowledge of applicable legislation, social services work, and outpatient operations is meritorious. Training in non-violent groups, Predov, Trappan, Conversations about Violence, KIBB, violence issues, normalization and separation processes, and other training related to the violence area is meritorious.

Experience with similar tasks, networking, and group discussions, as well as familiarity with data and documentation (preferably in Procapita/LifeCare), is also meritorious.

Great emphasis is placed on collaboration skills, clarity, and flexibility.

A valid driver's license with at least B category is required.

A criminal record extract will be required before employment, due to work with children.

Please attach your CV and cover letter with your application.
