ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Timrå. The shifts are scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. We are currently looking for substitute assistants who can work extra as needed.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• 10:00 PM - 08:00 AM (awake night)

• Weekends 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM or 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM (awake night)

Start date is according to agreement, and we hope you can begin the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a girl in her 15s who has a great interest in playing and engaging with her toys. She lives with her parents and siblings and needs your support as an assistant in her daily life as she has Angelman syndrome.

The tasks include:

• Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing

• Assistance with mobility and tube feeding

• Motivating and encouraging during play and training

The client uses a power wheelchair, walker, shower chair, electric wheelchair, manual wheelchair, and tube feeding.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people and the ability to analyze and understand others' needs. You are attentive, proactive, solution-focused, and have a positive attitude. We particularly value your ability to motivate and encourage when the client's own drive needs to be strengthened. It is a plus if you are playful. Personal suitability is of great importance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

• Class B driver's license + access to a car

• Must be smoke-free

• Must tolerate pets

MERITS

• Previous experience as a personal assistant/other care experience

Employment level: 3 substitute assistants

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
