We are currently looking for someone who wants to be a part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our client in Örnsköldsvik.

What does this position entail?

We are looking for someone who can and wants to work as a personal assistant primarily during the summer of 2026, but also as a substitute during the spring and autumn.

During the summer, you will replace the client's regular assistants who are on vacation and be scheduled accordingly.

During the spring and autumn, there is an opportunity for you to work as a flexible substitute when one of the client's assistants is sick, at home with sick children, or otherwise absent. This means you need to be flexible and sometimes able to work at short notice. 

We would like you to combine other employment with your work with us, for example if you are studying or already have a part-time job. 

We work with FrösundaFramtid, a system where you can indicate your availability when you can work and mark yourself as unavailable when you cannot work, as well as where you can input your profile, for example if you can work evenings but not during the day or never on Mondays.

As a substitute, you will collaborate with our central staffing unit, which is open from 05:30 to 21:00 to fill vacancies for the client. There may also be opportunities to work with more clients.

The working hours for the client are 8:00-20:00 or 20:00-8:00, where you will be actively working during the night, meaning you will be awake at night. 

In your work, you will work alone with the client and you will switch off with your colleague when you start or end your shift. When you work during the day, you will accompany the client in daily activities, swimming, and horseback riding. Since you will be working alone, it is important that you can collaborate with both external individuals and work independently with the client. 

You will perform standard care and support work, meaning helping the client with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, household chores, transfers, etc. You will support the client with planning, execution of everything, and communication. You will be trained by the client's regular assistants.

The shifts always start from the client's home. He lives alone in a house but has close contact with relatives and a guardian.  

You need to be calm, flexible, meticulous, responsible, and follow workplace routines as well as document. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. 

You need to be flexible, solution-oriented, and good at collaborating.

The client wants a pleasant, positive, and safe atmosphere in his home, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to that in a professional manner.

The client rides and swims, as an assistant you will support the client in these activities. Therefore, you need to be comfortable swimming in a pool and not allergic to chlorine or horses.

You will be required to provide two references from previous employers upon request. 

 We would like you to: 

• have a genuine interest in helping others.

• can understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.

• can work flexible hours - day, evening, and weekend.

• have experience in care and support. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).

• be smoke-free.

• the workplace is located in Örnsköldsvik, we would like you to live nearby or be able to commute to and from work.

Employment type: flexible employment.

Scope: as needed in the assistance. 

Working hours: 8:00-20:00 or 20:00-8:00. Primarily, you will work day shifts.
