Kramfors School is centrally located in Kramfors, with close proximity to both bus and train stations. The school is a 4-6 unit with around 300 students and also accommodates adapted primary school grades 1-9 and after-school care.

Our operations are characterized by safety, engagement, and faith in the future. We build on students' strengths and health-promoting factors and place great importance on establishing good relationships between students and adults, as this is a foundation for both learning and development.

We are now looking for a social pedagogue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social pedagogue, you play an important role in the school's work to create safety, well-being, study calm, and good school attendance. You work with students both in class, individually, and in groups, supporting students in need of assistance related to attendance, social interaction, or conflict situations. You are a present adult in the students' social environments, especially during breaks and transitions throughout the school day, where you contribute to safe and inclusive contexts.

You work closely with class teachers, teams, and student health to create a holistic approach to students' learning, development, and well-being. Your role also includes contributing to mapping and analyzing students' attendance, safety, and social situations, as well as working proactively and preventively to strengthen students' safety and school attendance.

A central part of the role is to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as to collaborate with external actors to create a shared understanding of the student's development and support measures. You also lead the school's systematic safety and attendance work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working with children and youth in both regular and adapted primary schools, and who has a good understanding of students' diverse needs. You also have experience working with students who have school absenteeism and/or social challenges.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work from a low-arousal approach and meet students in various situations in a safe, structured, and professional manner.

The work requires good organizational and collaborative skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and good analytical abilities. You need to have a development-oriented and solution-focused approach and be able to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, guardians, and external actors.

We see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, with the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience with documentation in digital systems for follow-up and documentation
• Driving license B
