We are looking for a personal assistant for support and care.

Your Contribution as a Personal Assistant

As an assistant to this woman, you will perform various tasks as the client is physically disabled in most parts of her body. You will need to assist with transfers, eating, and hygiene, as well as drive a handicap bus so she can visit friends and participate in activities, etc. Since she is very fragile, you need to be very careful and meticulous. You must be able to read her subtle signals as communication is limited. She also requires several machines such as a cough machine and respirator, has a trach, and a floor lift. You will learn to use these and more independently. Some healthcare tasks are included. Working hours are varied, including day/evening, awake night shifts, and weekend work.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for a woman with life and work experience. You should be meticulous, empathetic, responsive, and responsible. It is important that you can see what needs to be done and take initiative as the client has limited communication. Since the job requires you to read and receive verbal advanced instructions, you need to master Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. A B driver's license is required.

Experience with trach, respirators, and other machines such as lifts and cough machines is an advantage. The employer considers it a merit if you are a trained nursing assistant or have equivalent healthcare education.

Personal suitability is highly valued.
