ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Rehabassistans are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant. Our client lives every other week in Härnösand and in Mörtsal. We offer a full-time position (100%) and on-call work as needed. Working hours are scheduled from 07:00 to 20:00, and you will always work together with a colleague.

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 4-year-old boy who is very social and likes to be where the action is. He enjoys participating in his siblings' activities, such as handball and football, and appreciates being outdoors in all weather. He also likes to bake.

The boy has significant care needs and must never be left unattended. As an assistant, you will help him with all daily activities.

Job responsibilities include:

• Accompanying and participating in activities

• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and transfers

• Handling of assistive devices, including tube feeding via PEG, cough machine, home respirator, and saturation monitoring

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license and access to a car

• Not allergic to pets

• Non-smoker

• Can tolerate chlorine/Can swim

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a personal assistant

• Other care experience

• Care education or equivalent

Employment rate: 1 position at 100% and 1 on-call position.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present valid ID and/or submit a personal certificate and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are going to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the background check will include both an extract from the criminal record and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so orders should be made in good time.
